Meet the counselors-
Maureen De Jonge earned a Bachelor's degree in Nursing, a Master's degree in Counseling Ministries, has passed the National Board Exam, and is a State of Georgia Licensed Professional Counselor. She has been married to Mike (an Air Force active duty pilot) for 34 years. They have parented 3 children and are navigating the joys of the "empty nest." Perhaps most importantly, Maureen has encountered tough seasons in her own life and has experienced Real Hope first-hand. Although still in process herself, she is passionate about being an instrument of Hope in the lives of others weathering the storms of life.
Shelley Spivey earned a Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy and is a certified Pastoral Counselor. She has a heart for counseling discipleship to women, as well as serving as a parenting coach. She is married, has two sons, and has prior experience as a licensed daycare provider. Shelley is pursuing licensure and is being supervised by Maureen De Jonge. To schedule an appointment with Shelley, please call her directly, 478.733.2597.
195 Harner Rd.
Kathleen, GA 31047
FYI- If heading south on Houston Lake Road, at the intersection of Hwy. 96, it is 3.3 miles further, until the right hand turn on Sandefur (if you pass the country club, you've gone too far). Follow Sandefur to a left turn on Harner. Once on Harner, proceed straight, then follow the sharp curve to the right. The office is on the lake side of the street. Look for the decorative pelican by the mailbox. Park in the circular drive and enter by the glass door to the waiting area.
